Financial Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead the finance and accounting function of a fast‑growing company in Ortigas Center. This senior position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the rollout, configuration, and daily utilization of the SAP system.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end closing, preparation of management reports, and analysis of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and operating expenses.
• Develop and present variance analyses and business performance insights to senior management.
• Implement and maintain finance and accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage core accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Clean up inter‑company accounts and maintain complete, accurate books of accounts.
• Lead the external audit process and coordinate with regulators such as SEC, PSE, BIR, SSS, and HDMF.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure accounting data integrity in IT systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and CPA certification.
• 8‑10 years of accounting/comptroller experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet strict reporting deadlines, and handle high‑volume data.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting principles, IFRS, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work onsite in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
