Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for our growing container logistics company. You will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, and delivering strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Monitor operational costs, profitability, and key financial metrics.
• Coordinate audits and work with external accountants and financial institutions.
• Support executive leadership with financial planning and strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, trucking, or container operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• CPA designation is a plus.
