Financial Control Analyst

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Financial Control Analyst to join its Markets and Treasury Financial Control team in Manila. You will help ensure the financial integrity of the business by delivering accurate, reliable and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and validate month‑end financial information, including P&L and Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial and management reporting for the Markets and Treasury divisions.
• Support statutory and regulatory reporting obligations across business units.
• Review new trades, perform price testing, and attribute P&L to market and model inputs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries, address issues and support business requirements.

Required profile

• Knowledge of markets and/or treasury products gained through prior experience in Markets Finance, Product Control or Financial Control.
• Understanding of financial instruments accounting standards.
• Strong analytical mindset with a growth‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Ability to write Excel macros.
• Experience with automation tools and a willingness to develop automation solutions.
