Financial Control Analyst – Institutional Ex‑Markets

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Financial Control Analyst to join its Institutional Ex‑Markets team in Manila. You will support international accounting and reporting processes, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of financial information while embedding robust governance and simplification initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely financial data to on‑shore Finance Control teams for end‑to‑end accounting and reporting.
• Execute strong financial controls across hub‑based processes to maintain financial integrity.
• Implement and embed centralized, standardized processes and controls within the Institutional Ex‑Markets team.
• Deliver month‑end outputs such as registers, schedules, reconciliations, and trial balances that meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Own country‑agnostic processes including journals, reconciliations, and core control activities.
• Ensure “quality at source” by maintaining robust process‑level controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial control, or shared services.
• Familiarity with financial services or regulated industries is an advantage.
