Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the CFO by reporting and analysing the financial performance of multiple international regions. The role focuses on profitability, accurate financial reporting and delivering insights that enable sound management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the CFO with budgeting and forecasting exercises and maintain a three‑year business plan.
• Performance Analysis: Provide financial and non‑financial performance commentary and analyse variances against budget, forecast and prior years.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate recognition of revenue and costs and oversee timely monthly and quarterly reporting for international entities.
• Month‑End Participation: Contribute to month‑end closing by ensuring correct cost allocations and proposing appropriate accruals.
• Cost Control: Participate in cost‑control projects and manage General & Admin expenditure to contain overhead.
• Working Capital Oversight: Monitor key performance indicators for working capital and trigger remedial actions when needed.
• Process Improvement: Continuously review and optimise work processes, tools and systems to enhance reporting reliability and productivity.

Required profile

• Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA, CMA or an equivalent international accounting qualification.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to break down complex topics.
• Significant business‑analysis experience, preferably in multinational companies with matrix reporting structures.

Required skills

• Experience developing reporting tools and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Cognos or Group ERP systems.
