Finance Planning Analyst – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Planning Analyst to support its External Manufacturing Operations. You will manage complex financial data, ensure accurate month‑end close, and provide analysis that drives operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Perform variance and cost analysis, investigate root causes, and quantify financial impact.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, support forecasting cycles, and improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports and dashboards, reconciling data across systems.
• Identify manual processes and implement automation or structural improvements.
• Provide analytical support to operations and finance stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, manufacturing finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently on complex datasets.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data structuring).
• Experience with Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
