Finance Controller – Hybrid Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead our accounting function in a hybrid work environment. The role combines strategic oversight of financial reporting with hands‑on management of the finance team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and analyze financial results, explaining significant variances.
• Identify financial and operational risks, recommend mitigating controls, and design effective internal control systems.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, corporate governance standards, and internal control requirements.
• Lead initiatives to improve financial processes, address audit findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team, setting performance objectives and identifying training opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
