Finance Controller (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance and accounting function in a hybrid work environment. The role involves overseeing the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and driving continuous improvement across financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.
• Analyze financial results and explain significant variances.
• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigating controls.
• Design, implement, and maintain effective internal control systems.
• Monitor compliance with internal control requirements and corporate governance standards.
• Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and operational efficiencies.
• Address audit findings, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of audit recommendations.
• Manage and develop the finance and accounting team, set performance objectives, and provide coaching.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Proven analytical, leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hybrid work schedule (4 days on‑site, 1 day work‑from‑home).
