Finance Controller – Business Partner

About the role

As a Finance Controller you will partner with business leaders to drive financial performance, support strategic decisions and ensure strong financial governance. You will provide insights to improve profitability, operational efficiency and sustainable growth while overseeing reporting, accounting, compliance and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional leaders on business planning, performance management and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor results and deliver financial analysis, insights and recommendations.
• Identify cost‑reduction and efficiency opportunities.
• Review and evaluate capital expenditure (CAPEX) investments.
• Lead accounting activities including financial reporting, treasury, payroll and product costing.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, audit requirements and SOX standards.
• Support inventory control and accurate financial recording of inventory transactions.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors, regulators and finance stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 5‑10 years of finance and accounting experience, including financial control, reporting, compliance and business partnering.
• Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards, local statutory requirements, US GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
