Finance Business Controller

About the role

The Finance Business Controller is a key finance partner for the Business Unit, responsible for accurate financial planning, reporting and strategic decision‑making. You will ensure the integrity of financial results, enforce internal controls and provide insights that drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and year‑to‑date Business Unit P&L reports with variance and year‑over‑year analysis.
• Analyze financial performance, key business metrics and operational impact on results.
• Develop and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven financial analysis and support decision‑making.
• Communicate financial results and insights to senior management.
• Implement and enforce internal controls and accounting policies, reporting any violations.
• Oversee disbursement and operational expense reporting, ensuring proper accounting.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of finance professionals, providing coaching and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis for a business unit.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional partners and senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance and policy enforcement.
• Leadership experience in managing and developing finance teams.
