Finance and Tax Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance and Tax Manager to lead the finance function for our Philippine entities. The role will be responsible for overseeing accounting, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, while supporting the company’s sustainability and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, review general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyse balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and provide management reporting.
• Develop the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, perform variance analysis against actual results.
• Maintain tax compliance checklist, review and approve monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and support project proposals for tax rulings.
• Coordinate free cash flow calculations, monitor customer collections, DSO and approve funding requests and inter‑company loan agreements.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion.
• Identify control gaps, document processes and drive finance transformation initiatives, including automation within the Oracle ERP environment.
• Supervise the finance team and manage relationships with external service providers.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in audit firms and/or corporate finance, preferably in engineering or construction.
• Degree in Business, Accounting or related field with a qualified accounting designation (e.g., CPA or equivalent).
• Proven ability to manage a finance team and handle complex multi‑project environments.
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations and corporate finance standards.
