Finance and Accounting Associate Manager

About the role

The Finance and Accounting Associate Manager will lead the day‑to‑day accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirements. This role reports to senior finance leadership and supervises a team of accounting professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and fixed assets.
• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow, financial planning and provide analytical reports to management.
• Ensure timely filing of national and local tax returns, oversee tax payments and handle audits and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Coordinate statutory and regulatory filings such as GIS, audited financial statements, TIMTA and PEZA requirements.
• Lead statutory and third‑party audits, prepare audit schedules and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems, identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Supervise, mentor and evaluate accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and completeness of work.
