Finance AI Lead

About the role

The Finance AI Lead will drive the practical application of artificial intelligence across Asurion's finance function. This hands‑on, strategic role bridges deep finance expertise with advanced analytics, automation, and AI technologies to improve decision‑making, efficiency, and insight generation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize AI/analytics use cases (forecasting, claims cost optimization, revenue insights, reporting automation) and build business cases with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics, IT, and Finance Systems teams to design, validate, and implement scalable AI‑driven solutions.
• Leverage predictive analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy, variance analysis, scenario modeling, and management reporting, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain strong data governance, model controls, and audit readiness, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Act as a trusted finance advisor on AI, influencing stakeholders and upskilling teams in data‑driven decision‑making.
• Provide operational and ad‑hoc support for strategic analysis, reporting, and high‑impact finance initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance & Accounting.
• 8‑12 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably with cost accounting, financial systems, audit, general accounting, account reconciliation, and finance transformation.
• Experience in wireless, high‑tech, manufacturing, or insurance industries and in complex, data‑rich, matrixed global organizations.
• Strong working knowledge of AI/ML, advanced analytics, and automation concepts applied to finance.
