About the role
The Executive Assistant will support the President & CEO of Manulife China Bank Life Assurance Corporation, providing high‑level administrative assistance and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position is based in Makati and requires on‑site presence three days a week.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the executive’s calendar, schedule meetings across multiple time zones, and coordinate travel itineraries, including visa arrangements.
- Prepare and process expense reimbursements using Concur or a similar system.
- Organize and facilitate team meetings, draft agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Lead corporate visitor arrangements, including agenda creation and logistics.
- Plan and execute employee engagement events such as town halls and planning sessions.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding activities, draft announcements, and prepare presentations.
- Manage incoming communications (calls, emails, mail) and arrange technology desk‑side support as needed.
- Provide backup support to other Executive Assistants within MBPS.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an executive or administrative assistant supporting senior leaders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with senior officers.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Concur or a comparable expense management system.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
