About the role

The Risk Prevention Specialist will lead safety initiatives to protect employees and customers within Tottus stores. Working closely with the Sub‑Management of Risk Prevention, you will ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and disseminate operational safety standards across assigned stores.
• Monitor and verify correct execution of company procedures to reduce accidents and lost work days.
• Investigate incidents using causal analysis methodology and report findings.
• Ensure compliance with current legal regulations on safety, risk, and environmental health.
• Provide first aid and lead investigations when a customer accident occurs.
• Lead implementation of Ministry of Health (MINSAL) protocols in the workplace.
• Maintain up‑to‑date statistics on accidents and occupational diseases.
• Control contractor compliance according to law 20.123 DS 76.
• Plan and execute evacuation drills.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar safety or risk prevention role.
• Engineering or technical background.
• Experience in the retail sector is preferred.
