Equipment Technician III

About the role

As an Equipment Technician III you will ensure that a wide range of machinery and production equipment operates reliably and safely. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and commission equipment in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, identifying root causes.
• Repair or replace defective components to restore optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
• Interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, and technical documentation.
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Connect and install cables, wires, and related components.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment condition.
• Document issues encountered and corrective actions taken.
• Comply with all workplace safety policies and ensure safe equipment operation.

Required profile

• Completion of a minimum 2‑year technical or technology‑related course.
• At least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, vision systems, basic electronics, electrical systems, mechatronics, automation, robotics and pneumatics.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with email, MS Office and other standard computer tools.
• Ability to train and mentor newly hired technicians.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
