Equipment Technician II – Engineering

About the role

As an Equipment Technician II in Engineering, you will ensure the reliability and safety of industrial machinery used in high‑scale data storage systems. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement of equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments, identify hazards, and follow safety protocols before any maintenance activity.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Document maintenance actions and keep accurate records.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, control circuits, servo controllers, and motion‑control systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and electronic schematics.
• Support equipment commissioning, testing, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to root‑cause equipment failures.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electronics, Electrical, or Electromechanical Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience maintaining industrial equipment.
• Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
