Equipment Engineer – Manufacturing & Reliability

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking an Equipment Engineer to lead the resolution of chronic manufacturing issues and drive continuous improvement across its production lines. The role focuses on contactor reliability, data‑driven analysis, and the implementation of sustainable engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve chronic manufacturing issues and lead root‑cause analysis for recurring contactor problems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement sustainable solutions.
• Utilize manufacturing data analytics to identify issues, drive continuous improvement, and support migration projects.
• Provide engineering support for contactor‑related migrations and address contacting concerns in manufacturing.
• Recommend design improvements, component upgrades, and define standards for manufacturability.
• Identify and qualify alternative technologies for obsolete contactors, ensuring performance and cost targets are met.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing or equipment engineering environments.
• Proven ability to lead root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Strong collaboration skills with design, production, and cross‑functional teams.
