Engineering Technician – 1 Year Experience in Building Furnishing

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Technician with at least one year of experience in building furnishing and equipment refurbishment. The role focuses on receiving, inspecting, repairing, and calibrating printers returned from clients.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log returned printers, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Perform thorough visual and functional inspections to identify damage and refurbishment needs.
• Disassemble equipment, document each step, and clean internal components and cover panels.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults, carry out repairs or replace parts as required.
• Conduct functional tests on repaired components and calibrate machines to original performance specifications.
• Create detailed reports outlining condition, required repairs, and parts replacement for each unit.

Required profile

• Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a refurbishing or rebuilding technician.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in refurbishing tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow warehouse procedures.
• Effective technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
