Engineering Manager – Lead Maintenance & Technical Strategy

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead a maintenance engineering team, defining technical strategy, budgeting, and performance metrics. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure safe and productive machinery operation, and align cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and support the engineering team.
• Develop and present a technical strategy and budget proposal.
• Implement and monitor performance metrics for the technical strategy.
• Communicate team goals and coordinate internal teams to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Plan, organize, and lead maintenance activities to ensure safe, productive machinery within engineering standards.
• Lead RCA and PDCA initiatives to prevent recurring breakdowns.
• Create data‑driven improvement concepts for maintenance cost reduction.
• Establish control and management regulations for tools and measuring devices to avoid damage and accidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience supervising and managing a maintenance team.
• Familiarity with standards such as IATF16949, ISO, and related cost‑management regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, people‑management, and negotiation abilities.
