Engineering Head

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Engineering Head to lead the maintenance and reliability of equipment in a food‑processing environment. The role requires a registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in utilities, plant systems, and equipment troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of all plant utilities and processing equipment.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and implement Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to improve equipment reliability.
• Develop and enforce Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) across the facility.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in equipment maintenance within food‑processing plants, feed milling, or related electromechanical service industries.
• Proven background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and equipment reliability improvement.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.
