Engineer, Project Design Engineering

About the role

The Project Design Engineer will work closely with customers and internal teams to lead new product introductions. The role ensures that designs are feasible, prototypes are delivered on schedule, and all documentation is ready for hand‑over to manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to deliver design projects during new product introduction.
• Coordinate with the factory to guarantee timely prototype delivery for sample builds.
• Perform Design‑for‑Manufacturing (DFM) activities to ensure product manufacturability.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) in the SAP system, including part additions, uploads, and changes.
• Ensure all product‑related documentation is complete and hand over the project to the factory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
• Good understanding of electronic manufacturing processes.
• Experience in product development and new product introduction.
• Minimum of 3 years working in an electronic manufacturing environment.
