Employee Engagement Specialist

About the role

The Employee Engagement Specialist supports the workforce by driving engagement initiatives, handling employee relations, and aligning people strategies with business goals. This role works closely with line managers and HR partners to ensure a positive and compliant workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Champion employee engagement programs and ensure active participation across designated accounts.
• Represent the organization in government‑initiated learning programs on labor laws and support their workplace application.
• Provide guidance to line managers on fair implementation of the Code of Conduct.
• Develop, propose, and manage HR programs within allocated budgets.
• Oversee workforce planning documentation and ensure timely completion.
• Facilitate the creation and review of job competency matrices.
• Lead recruitment processes, from interviewing to hiring key positions.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation for employee development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of employee engagement, employee relations, labor relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and project management.
• In‑depth understanding of labor laws, job evaluation systems, and job analysis frameworks.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities with cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work in Canlubang, Laguna.
