EMEA Payroll Specialist – Philippines

About the role

Netflix is expanding its global operations and seeks a Payroll Specialist to support EMEA payroll functions from its Philippines office. The role involves end‑to‑end payroll processing, compliance, and employee support across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Process off‑cycle, fortnightly and monthly payroll, including new hires and leavers.
• Validate gross‑to‑net calculations, ensure SOX compliance and obtain manager approvals.
• Upload net pay, government payments and payslips via bank portals and Workday using AWS.
• Maintain payroll calendars, prepare year‑end tasks and conduct employee communications.
• Address payroll inquiries through Zendesk and stay updated on statutory requirements.
• Support audit and tax/finance teams with compliance documentation.
• Prepare payroll reports, statutory receipts and update country payroll manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Experience in full‑cycle payroll operations, preferably for EMEA regions.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
