Electro-Mechanical Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our industrial maintenance team. You will be responsible for keeping a range of production equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Install and assemble electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, conveyors, packaging machines and other automated production assets.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Repair or replace motors, sensors, switches, relays, bearings, belts and related components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Test equipment to verify safe and correct operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.

Required profile

• A technical or vocational diploma in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Technology or a related field.
• Experience in industrial maintenance is often preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
