Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician supports the Service Engineer and Lead Service Technician in delivering reliable electrical services across all TS projects. The role involves preparing equipment, conducting tests, and ensuring safety while working on site throughout the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tools, materials, testing equipment, and vehicles before each project.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of departmental tools, testing equipment, and vehicles.
• Perform electrical testing, commissioning, maintenance, equipment evaluation, and inspection on all TS projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and install power supplies for testing equipment.
• Assist with electrical installation projects and maintain test results, data, and records.
• Encode test results, provide preliminary analysis, and help submit reports and invoices to customers.
• Support inventory management of tools and testing equipment.
• Report directly to the Service Engineer/Lead Service Technician and carry out additional tasks assigned by the Service Manager.

Required profile

• Graduate of an electrical vocational course.
• Minimum 2 years experience in electrical equipment engineering, power plant, technical services contracting, or manufacturing as a lineman/service technician.
• No acrophobia; comfortable working at heights.
• Good communication and technical knowledge.
• Familiar with basic hand, power and diagnostic tools.
• Proficient with basic MS Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate manual or automatic vehicles.
• Willingness to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines and work long hours during project execution.
