About the role

The Editorial Production Assistant supports the publishing team by ensuring that each page meets the highest standards of accuracy, design, and layout. Working closely with Section Editors and the Editorial Systems Head, you will play a key part in the production workflow of print and digital publications.

Key responsibilities

Proofread content for spelling, grammar, and consistency.
Execute design and layout tasks using publishing software.
Incorporate revisions and updates into page files under supervision.
Collaborate with editors to maintain style guidelines and production schedules.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
At least one year of experience in proofreading or editorial production.
One year of hands‑on training in a publishing environment.

Required skills

Proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
Familiarity with Pagemaker and Photoshop.
Knowledge of PDI Stylebook for style‑guide enforcement.
Strong layout and pagination abilities.
