Dishwasher & Prep Cook

About the role

Join Everyday Coffee Roasters as a Dishwasher and Prep Cook, supporting both the commissary and café environments. You will keep the kitchen spotless while assisting in food preparation, ensuring a clean, functional, and welcoming space for staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, small wares, and utensils.
• Clean, sweep, and mop kitchen areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Refill and restock ingredients as needed.
• Execute food production tasks such as slicing, chopping, sautéing, roasting, and other preparation methods.
• Portion, package, and pack culinary creations with attention to detail and deadline compliance.
• Support teammates across savory and pastry stations, communicating needs and pitching in wherever required.
• Maintain a tidy workstation and keep equipment in top condition.

Required profile

• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods (at least 8 hours per day).
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Thoughtful, anticipates guest needs, and possesses a can‑do mindset.
• Passionate about coffee, food, and inclusive hospitality experiences.

Required skills

• Safe operation and thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment.
• Food preparation techniques (slicing, chopping, sautéing, roasting).
• Basic math skills for portioning and inventory.
