Director - Operations Excellence Implementation & AI Solutions

About the role

The Director of Operations Excellence Implementation & AI Solutions will turn improvement ideas into AI‑enabled, scalable solutions across Asia. Reporting to the Head of Operations Excellence, the role leads solution design, rapid prototyping and offshore implementation to deliver measurable operational benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Convert process‑mapping insights into executable solution designs, functional requirements and implementation roadmaps.
• Design and prototype AI‑driven applications, low‑code/no‑code tools, intelligent document processing and operational dashboards.
• Act as business solution owner for offshore IT teams and vendors, translating requirements into user stories, technical briefs and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee development, testing, deployment and early‑life support to ensure stability and value realization.
• Drive pilots, roll‑outs and transition to business‑as‑usual while ensuring adoption across country operations.
• Track solution performance against cost, productivity, quality and customer experience targets and feed lessons back into the improvement pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 5–10 years of experience in operations excellence, digital transformation, automation or AI‑enabled solution implementation.
• Proven track record of turning concepts into deployed, scalable solutions.
• Strong communication skills to bridge business and technology stakeholders.
