Director of Shared Services (Finance)

About the role

The Director of Shared Services leads Allegro’s Finance Shared Services function, overseeing global processes such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, FP&A, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Treasury. This senior position partners with business leaders to provide financial insight, drive automation, and ensure compliance across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic financial partner to operational leaders, guiding margin optimization and global initiatives.
• Define and execute a multi‑year automation roadmap, collaborating with IT to modernize legacy systems and implement AI‑enabled analytics.
• Standardize and automate reconciliations, review processes, and journal entry workflows to accelerate the global financial close.
• Partner with Internal Audit to maintain robust SOX controls and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Develop performance dashboards to monitor rework rates, reconciliation completion, and journal entry volume.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of financial reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and mentor a high‑performing team, building talent pipelines within the Philippines center.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other financial institutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance (required).
• Master’s degree (MBA) is a distinct advantage.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant finance experience, including leadership of shared services or similar functions.
