Director of Learning Strategy (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is looking for a senior leader to own and execute its academic strategy. You will translate rigorous learning‑science research into actionable curricula, drive performance across diverse school sites, and serve as the public face of a movement that enables students to master content in just two hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that turn learning‑science insights into curriculum, motivational design, and technology architecture.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and consistent delivery of results.
• Analyze data, interview stakeholders, and observe classrooms to produce ecosystem assessments and recommend targeted interventions.
• Establish planning rhythms, feedback mechanisms, and milestone tracking to keep focus on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile forums, including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education, to promote systemic change.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic leadership, EdTech, or related educational strategy roles.
• Proven track record of building systems that deliver measurable learning outcomes.
• Strong public speaking ability and credibility to advocate for evidence‑based education models.
