Director of Back Office (Vietnamese Talent Preferred)

About the role

VinFast is expanding its overseas operations and seeks a seasoned Director of Back Office to lead finance, HR, legal/compliance and administrative functions for its Philippines office. The role ensures smooth day‑to‑day processes while aligning back‑office activities with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage back‑office functions including finance, HR, legal/compliance and administration.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and best practices across all support areas.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cost control and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies and legal requirements.
• Handle recruitment, payroll, employee relations and other HR administrative tasks.
• Partner with senior leadership to align back‑office operations with business goals.
• Mentor and develop back‑office team members to build a high‑performing department.
• Act as primary liaison for communications and collaborations with VinFast headquarters in Vietnam.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Law or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of finance, compliance, HR operations and administrative management.
• Proven experience in process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Experience working with international teams.
• English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.0 or business fluency.
