Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to shape and scale our evidence‑based learning model that enables students to achieve twice the learning rate in just two hours per day. As Director of Academic Excellence you will be the chief architect of academic strategy, driving execution across schools worldwide and representing the movement publicly.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic structures that translate learning science into curriculum, student motivation frameworks, and technology architecture.
• Conduct performance reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability and outcome focus.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews and field observations to assess academic ecosystems and recommend concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms and progress monitoring.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at senior forums, keynotes and meetings with Ministries of Education to influence global education policy.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in education, learning sciences or a related field.
• Proven track record of building and scaling evidence‑based academic systems with measurable impact.
• Executive‑level experience leading academic strategy and high‑performing teams.
• Ability to diagnose implementation gaps and drive systematic improvements.
