Director, IT Manufacturing

About the role

Advanced Energy Industries is seeking a Director of IT Manufacturing to lead technology operations across its Cavite and Laguna factories in the Philippines. Reporting to the General Manager, you will act as the primary technology partner, translating business challenges into IT solutions and ensuring alignment with corporate IT standards and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full IT footprint at both factories, including infrastructure, applications, network, MES, SCADA, ERP, and OT systems.
• Serve as senior IT representative to the General Manager and staff, feeding business needs into corporate roadmaps for MES, ERP and other platforms.
• Align local IT execution with corporate architecture, governance and security standards.
• Lead, develop and manage the site IT team, overseeing staffing, performance and capability growth.
• Ensure operational continuity for factory‑critical systems, coordinating enhancements and issue resolution with corporate teams.
• Oversee local IT service delivery, vendor relationships and project execution within scope, schedule, budget and security requirements.
• Govern change management processes to guarantee safe, compliant, disruption‑free production changes.
• Manage site‑level IT budgets, procurement and lifecycle of technology assets.
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning for power, network or system disruptions.
• Monitor IT performance metrics and drive continuous improvement aligned with enterprise KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, identity and access management, endpoint governance, SOX and safety audit requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience managing IT operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Experience overseeing multi‑site IT teams, budgets and vendor contracts.
• Demonstrated track record of ensuring high availability, performance and security of critical production systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with plant leadership and corporate IT.
