Director – Finance & Accounting Operations

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head our Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) portfolio for strategic US clients. The role blends executive client management, operational oversight, and commercial growth to drive long‑term partnerships and profitable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers and other C‑suite executives, ensuring each engagement delivers measurable business value.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities, support strategic conversations, and contribute to winning RFP responses.
• Oversee end‑to‑end Finance & Accounting operations including AR, AP, General Ledger, reporting, billing, cash applications and audit support.
• Lead a 200+ offshore delivery team, fostering accountability, innovation and high performance.
• Drive large‑scale transformations, process redesign, automation and standardisation to improve client experience and profitability.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing.
• Extensive experience managing US client accounts.
• At least 5 years leading offshore delivery organisations of 200+ FTEs.
• Proven track record managing multi‑million‑dollar portfolios and delivering operational excellence.
• Experience leading enterprise‑wide Finance & Accounting functions.
