Digital Marketing Specialist – WooCommerce

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist with deep WooCommerce expertise to support a growing SaaS business. The role blends digital marketing execution with hands‑on management of a subscription‑based WooCommerce platform, ensuring smooth customer experiences and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise WooCommerce stores, focusing on subscription‑based products.
• Create and maintain recurring subscription items using WooCommerce Subscriptions.
• Handle customer subscription actions – cancellations, pauses, reactivations, upgrades and downgrades.
• Monitor renewals, resolve failed payments and configure recurring billing via Stripe, PayPal and other gateways.
• Support subscription lifecycle, retention and renewal processes, and generate performance reports.
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot WooCommerce issues and improve platform performance.
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, promotions, landing pages and product launches.
• Analyse website performance, customer behaviour and campaign results to improve conversion rates.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing WooCommerce and WordPress sites.
• Background in membership or subscription‑based SaaS businesses.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as email platforms, SEO, Google Analytics, Meta or Google Ads.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, communication and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Hands‑on experience with WooCommerce Subscriptions, including product creation, renewal management, failed‑payment recovery, upgrades/downgrades and lifecycle management.
