DevOps Lead

About the role

The DevOps Lead will define and drive the DevOps strategy for the Group, ensuring faster time‑to‑market, higher software quality and greater operational efficiency. This senior position works closely with application development, IT operations and quality assurance teams to embed DevOps practices across agile projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the organisation’s DevOps strategy and policies.
• Lead the creation of automated CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks and monitoring solutions.
• Coordinate with development, operations and QA teams to standardise automation and delivery processes.
• Oversee the digital assurance function, establishing automation testing strategies and managing testing platforms and service providers.
• Integrate DevOps practices within the Agile framework and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and innovation throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in IT, with 3‑5 years leading a DevOps team.
• Strong knowledge of banking applications, interfaces and financial services operations.
• Advanced understanding of software testing, agile project management and systems analysis.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
