Design Officer – Mall Design & Project Management

About the role

The Design Officer maintains the design standards of SM City Baliwag by establishing design requirements and reviewing proposed concepts. This role plans and executes mall design projects, oversees construction quality, and ensures compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute mall design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget control, and compliance with design standards.
• Oversee construction and contractor performance to guarantee design accuracy, workmanship quality, and timely project delivery.
• Maintain and improve mall facilities by inspecting conditions, recommending restorations, and ensuring regular maintenance and safety compliance.
• Support tenant coordination through design plan reviews and alignment with mall development standards.
• Promote continuous learning and development by participating in training, skill enhancement, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Preferably a Registered Architect or Registered Civil Engineer.
• At least two (2) years experience in design development and project management.
