Demand Planning Officer

About the role

The Demand Planning Officer is responsible for shaping demand forecasts, managing supply ordering, and defining replenishment strategies for the assigned brand. This role works closely with inventory, logistics, and merchandising teams to ensure product availability while optimizing stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models based on historical sales trends and market drivers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Inventory, Outbound & Inbound Logistics, Merchandising) to align forecasts with replenishment plans.
• Monitor inventory health, maintain optimal safety stock, and prevent stock‑outs.
• Identify and manage slow‑moving or non‑moving SKUs to keep inventory within target levels.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and related processes.
• Conduct ABC analysis to categorize products and optimize budget allocation.
• Lead projects to enhance demand and replenishment policies, SOPs, and overall process efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple functional teams.
• Proactive and detail‑oriented approach to managing inventory and forecasting activities.
• Ability to lead improvement initiatives and adapt processes based on performance insights.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
