Demand Planner Manager

About the role

B. Braun is seeking a Demand Planner Manager to lead demand forecasting and supply alignment across multiple sales divisions. You will be a key driver of the local SI&OP process, using data‑driven insights to improve forecast accuracy, inventory health, and on‑time, in‑full delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead demand forecasting for three sales divisions, ensuring accuracy, transparency and accountability.
• Translate commercial demand signals into executable supply plans that support OTIF performance.
• Drive the local SI&OP process, presenting demand scenarios, risks and trade‑off recommendations.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to validate assumptions, challenge forecasts and incorporate market intelligence.
• Monitor and improve forecast accuracy, supply reliability and inventory health.
• Coach and mentor a team of planners, promoting best‑in‑class planning discipline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in demand planning or a similar role.
• Proven success managing demand in high‑volume, fast‑moving environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence Sales, Marketing and Operations.
• Prior mentoring or leadership experience is preferred.

Required skills

• SAP APO or comparable advanced planning system.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with PowerBI or other analytics/visualisation tools.
