About the role
The Data Validator (GC MS) at SGS in Alabang is a full‑time, on‑site position responsible for processing and validating analytical data generated in a chemical laboratory. The role ensures that all laboratory results meet strict quality and regulatory standards before they are released.
Key responsibilities
- Validate raw data obtained from HPLC and GC‑MS instruments.
- Perform calculations, generate accurate reports, and maintain proper documentation.
- Verify data integrity, ensure traceability, and archive results according to SOPs.
- Collaborate with laboratory technicians to resolve data discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing clear, compliant data records.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in a chemical or analytical laboratory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numerical data.
- Good written communication skills for reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
