Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

MicroSourcing is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join its team at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The role focuses on investigating incidents, monitoring security events, and supporting risk and compliance initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate cybersecurity incidents alongside managed security service providers, perform root‑cause analysis and support containment, remediation, and recovery activities.
• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms and Microsoft security technologies to detect suspicious or malicious activity.
• Assess cybersecurity risks across ICT projects, digital initiatives, and business operations while supporting governance and compliance requirements.
• Conduct security assessments for third‑party vendors, supply‑chain partners, and new technologies, ensuring identified risks are addressed promptly.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, awareness programs, operational procedures, and incident‑response playbooks, promoting best practices throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Third‑Party Security, or a related function.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, security controls, and incident‑response processes.
• Experience working with SIEM platforms, Microsoft security technologies, and Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS environments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.
