Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Trend Micro is seeking a motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join its security operations team. You will play a critical part in monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents, helping to protect the organization’s digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to event queues from the SIEM system and user‑reported incidents.
• Conduct initial investigations, triage, containment, remediation, and escalation or closure of incidents.
• Document investigation findings and forward detailed information to senior analysts for final analysis.
• Identify tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) from investigations and develop new SIEM use cases.
• Participate in continuous evaluation of security controls against emerging threats.
• Stay current with vulnerabilities, attack methods, and countermeasures.
• Work rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong interest in a long‑term career in information security and investigative work.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system security.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Understanding of current TTPs used to breach enterprises.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Willingness to be on‑call or work off‑hours to sustain operations.
