Customer Service Professional – Level I (Healthcare Billing)

About the role

MedRisk is seeking a Customer Service Professional (CSP) Level I to join its Provider Billing Inquiry team. In this role you will handle inbound calls from network providers, address claims‑related questions, and coordinate with internal billing and collection teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from a dedicated phone queue and provide timely responses to provider and collection staff inquiries about claim status.
• Explain the billing process, timing expectations, and related policies to callers.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Accounting, Provider Relations, and Account Management to resolve complex claim inquiries.
• Maintain MedRisk’s Customer Support Service and Quality standards, including monthly Total Agent Availability (TAA) goals.
• Identify system or procedural challenges, report them to a supervisor, and assist in resolution.
• Complete special projects or tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of call‑center experience, preferably handling high‑volume inbound and outbound calls in a healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail, data‑entry accuracy, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift in Mandaluyong City.
• Preferred background in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or related allied‑health fields, and a professional license from the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission.
