Customer Operations Specialist – Mass Accounts (Remote)

About the role

The Customer Operations Specialist (Mass) works remotely to manage end‑to‑end order execution for major national retailers such as Target and Walmart. You will act as the central point of contact between Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure orders are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with retailer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of retail purchase orders, from receipt to fulfillment, including validation, entry (EDI/manual), and alignment with inventory and production schedules.
• Identify and communicate order risks (cuts, delays, push‑outs) proactively, partnering with Supply Chain and Planning to mitigate issues.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned mass accounts, responding to inquiries within same‑day SLA and providing regular status updates.
• Ensure all orders meet retailer compliance requirements (routing, labeling, ASN accuracy) and work to reduce chargebacks caused by execution errors.
• Maintain accurate records of order status, changes, and communications while supporting continuous improvement of service processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, order management, or supply chain (CPG preferred).
• Direct experience with Target and/or Walmart is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of EDI, retail compliance, and routing requirements.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
