Custom Software Engineer – SAP Build & Joule Studio

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance custom solutions using SAP Build Process Automation and Joule Studio. The role focuses on creating low‑code/no‑code applications and AI‑driven agents that automate workflows across SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assign role collections within SAP BTP subaccounts to manage permissions and authorizations.
• Build, compile, and deploy custom Joule skills tailored to business requirements.
• Design and manage custom agents that automate workflows across SAP and non‑SAP environments using Joule Studio.
• Integrate Joule skills with SAP and external systems via APIs, OData, and configured destinations.
• Ensure platform usage aligns with organizational automation goals and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Build Process Automation and Joule Studio.
• Proficiency with low‑code/no‑code workflow design, rule‑based logic, and event‑driven automation.
• Experience with AI and cognitive automation, including defining agent goals in natural language.
• Familiarity with SAP Knowledge Graphs, SAP Cloud Identity Services, and security/compliance controls.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BTP subaccounts, entitlements, Cloud Foundry environments, and subscription models (BTPEA, CPEA, PAYG).
