Custom Software Engineer – SAP BTP & Joule Studio

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance components across SAP and non‑SAP systems. You will work with modern frameworks, low‑code/no‑code tools, and AI‑driven capabilities to deliver scalable, high‑performing solutions that meet specific business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assign role collections within SAP BTP subaccounts to manage permissions, authorizations, and process configurations for SAP Build Process Automation.
• Build, compile, and deploy custom Joule skills tailored to business requirements.
• Use Joule Studio to design and manage AI agents that automate workflows across SAP and external systems.
• Ensure the platform is effectively utilized to achieve organizational automation goals.

Required profile

• Proficiency with SAP Build Process Automation, Skill Builder, and Agent Builder.
• Experience creating, testing, and deploying Joule Skills and AI agents.
• Low‑code/no‑code expertise with drag‑and‑drop workflow design, rule‑based logic, and event‑driven automation.
• Familiarity with AI models for planning, reasoning, and decision‑making, including grounding agents with business data and SAP Knowledge Graphs.
• Ability to integrate Joule Skills with SAP and non‑SAP systems via APIs and OData.
• Understanding of SAP Cloud Identity Services, authentication, provisioning, data privacy, and compliance controls.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BTP subaccounts, entitlements, Cloud Foundry environments, and subscription models.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
