Crewing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Crewing Assistant to join our head office in Manila. The role supports the Crewing Department by ensuring smooth crew changes, accurate documentation, and effective coordination across local and international teams within the maritime shipping industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating crew changes, handling documentation, certificates and joining instructions.
• Maintain and update crew records, monitor document validity and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
• Liaise with internal teams and international Marlow offices to ensure smooth workflow and accurate data flow.
• Update crewing databases, guaranteeing information accuracy.
• Provide general administrative support to the Crewing Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Prior experience in crewing, maritime administration or related field is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow documentation procedures and data‑management techniques.
• Knowledge of required seafarer documents per rank and local maritime regulations.
