Credit Risk Policy Officer – Credit Risk Management

About the role

The Credit Risk Policy Officer acts as the bank's subject‑matter expert on credit policies, guiding their interpretation and implementation across the organization. This role ensures that policies remain current, compliant, and aligned with the bank’s risk appetite and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, update and maintain the bank’s Credit Risk Policies, manuals and guidelines.
• Evaluate, coordinate and implement policy amendments in response to regulatory changes, industry developments and business needs.
• Provide policy guidance and technical support to business units and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and lending teams to embed appropriate risk controls in credit products and processes.
• Prepare policy proposals and presentation materials for approval by senior authorities.
• Monitor regulatory issuances, audit findings and internal control issues, recommending enhancements as needed.
• Participate in credit‑related projects, including process improvements, system enhancements and risk‑rating initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, version control and records of approved policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Credit Risk Policy Team Head or Division Head.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably a business‑related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of relevant banking experience in Credit Risk Management, Audit and Compliance, or Lending Operations.
