Country Head – Operations (FMCG)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Philippine operations as Country Head – Operations for a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) organization. The role will drive operational excellence, business performance and sustainable growth while aligning with the company’s strategic vision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall country operations and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive operational excellence through process optimization, performance management and continuous improvement.
• Oversee end‑to‑end business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity and service excellence.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders in Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and other units to achieve business goals.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that support sustainable growth and profitability.
• Build, mentor and lead high‑performing leadership teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and innovation.
• Manage budgets, operational KPIs, resource planning and overall business performance.
• Ensure strong governance, compliance and risk management across all operational functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness.
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as Country Head, Country Director, General Manager, COO, Managing Director or similar executive role.
• Strong background in the FMCG industry.
• Demonstrated success in leading large‑scale operations with full business and operational accountability.
• Extensive experience managing cross‑functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance and HR.
• Strong strategic planning, business transformation and operational excellence expertise.
• Proven ability to drive business growth, operational improvements and organisational transformation.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication and decision‑making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
